St. Louis, Missouri

As part of a 25-year campus renewal plan, T. I. E. was awarded the low voltage systems design for 600,000 SF, $650 million patient tower, entrance, pavilion, and cafeteria.  Low Voltage Systems include electronic security and access controls and A/V systems. The project is in Design currently with plans for completion in 2023.

Demolition and reconstruction of a 16-story, 660,000 sq. ft. inpatient hospital tower at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Plaza in Saint Louis. The new inpatient tower is an important component of BJC’s Campus Renewal, a long-term vision to transform the Washington University Medical Campus (WUMC) through new construction and renovations with an overall focus on improving the patient and family experience at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

As part of the Integrated Project Delivery Team, TIE performed the low voltage systems design and construction administration for fire alarm, electronic security, access controls, video surveillance, and security intercommunications  systems. TIE also performed design assist/constructability documents for the electrical contractor.
